NC State University-NEWAPPLICATION PROCEDURES Posted 9/25
Students now have a new procedure for applying to NC State. In addition to submitting an application, official standardized test scores and application fee, students are required to self-report their courses and upload their unofficial transcripts.
Self-Reported Academic Report (SRAR) Students will continue to apply for admission to NC State via wolfPAW, our personal admissions website. Through wolfPAW, students can create an online profile, apply at their convenience, save their work and review their changes before submitting a final application. Beginning this fall, freshman applicants will self-report their high school courses and grades, including senior year courses in progress, through wolfPAW.
In addition to inputting courses and grades, students will also be asked to upload unofficial copies of their high school and college (if applicable) transcripts through wolfPAW.
NC State does not require nor recommend letters of recommendation. For students who wish to include a letter of recommendation with their applications, they may upload a maximum of one letter through their wolfPAW application. Letters of recommendation sent via mail will not be read and will be discarded.
You can find a detailed listing of all admissions deadlines and notification dates on our website.
